We can't wait for the public to see the restored Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui – Central Library, reopening after seven years!

Toulouse was lucky enough to support Rangi Kipa from Tihei and the Wellington City Council teams in delivering lighting for the exciting new artwork in the restored atrium.

See you at the opening on Saturday 14th March!

We feel very lucky to be a part of the restoration of the Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui – Central Library, which will open to the public in March 2026.

Happy Friday! 🍃 ✨ 🌿 🐯

Toulouse was proud to lead the lighting design for 14 hyper-realistic, large-scale statues now on display at the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Cultural Experience Center in Guangdong, China.

Carefully sculpted by Wētā Workshop Ltd, these figures tell the story of traditional Chinese medicine through moments frozen in time. Our lighting design enhances the emotional presence and expression of the extraordinarily detailed figures.

It was a privilege to collaborate with the brilliant artists and technicians who brought these stories to life - fusing tradition, innovation, and spectacle!
