New Zealand's official government travel advice for United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar has been updated, lifting the Level 4 warning and moving to a Level 2 'exercise increased caution' for travellers.

This is an important update for Kiwis travelling to the regions and makes some of the most popular stopover points to the UK and Europe again more accessible. Do check your travel insurance policies and criteria, and how the updated travel advisory may improve cover for your travel to UAE and Qatar, subject to insurers terms and policy conditions.
