Himam Race 2025 ✅🏃🤩

My second time participating (and second time doing the Scenic Sprint, 22km!), I didn't improve much on my 2023 time, but I think if was still a PR 😅

Most importantly, I had such a good time and enjoyed the vibes and seeing so many familiar faces before, during, and after the race. Honestly, this is by far the best organised race in Oman and I can't wait to see the UTMB Edition of the race next year, and hopefully I'll be able to participate in the 35km race🤞

Have you been to Bahla before? It should definitely be on your list if you haven't!

And no, you are unlikely to encounter any jinns or witchcraft during your visit, but you can enjoy:

- Bahla Fort : One of the oldest forts in Oman and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which you can spend hours exploring.
- Bahla Historical Mosque: Old mosque with stunning mehrab and texts on its columns dating hundreds of years ago!
- Kmkan Cafe and Guesthouse : Fantastic coffee in a beautifully decorated place that brings calm and peace
- Souq Bahla: While not fully renovated, it still has a great vibe and and a good excuse to hvad an espresso at Kadm cafe .om
- Ancinet wall of Bahla: not picture in this post 😅😭
