Asyad Drydock (Oman Drydock Company L.L.C ) (ODC), a member of Asyad Group, based at the Port of Duqm and strategically located close to global shipping routes benefitting customers by reducing deviation time. 11, Asyad Drydock initially specialised in handling LNG and VLCC vessels before expanding into gas carriers, car carriers, bulk carriers, pipe layers, heavy lift ships, cruise vessels and oil tankers. Now, Asyad Drydock provides ship maintenance and conversion facilities for all types of vessels offering a full range of general vessel repair services including engineering, electrical, propulsion, accommodation upgrades, fitting, blasting and painting as well as procurement, testing, trials and class surveys. Asyad Drydock's considerable steel work capabilities and expertise enables the company to manage major and minor emergency repair projects swiftly and efficiently. In a further expansion to its services, Asyad Drydock also designs and fabricates steel works for the petro-chemical industry, the construction and maintenance of off-shore platforms for the oil and gas industry and is increasingly investing in new technology.

شاركت ⁧‫ ‬⁩ ضمن ⁧‫ ُمان_للاستدامة‬⁩ 2026 في جلسة حوارية نظمتها العُمانية للغاز الطبيعي المُسال، بعنوان "استشراف مسار الاستدامة الوطنية عبر التوطين الصناعي"، وتناولت تنامي دور التوطين الصناعي باعتباره ركيزة إستراتيجية لدفع مسارات التنمية المستدامة وترسيخ الجاهزية الوطنية ودعم التحول الاقتصادي على المدى الطويل في ⁧‫ ُمان‬⁩.

‏ومثل أسياد للحوض الجاف في الجلسة يعقوب الوائلي، رئيس سلسلة التوريد، وتحدث عن الصناعات البحرية والقيمة المحلية المضافة والدور المتنامي للإمكانات الصناعية الوطنية في دعم مستهدفات رؤية عُمان 2040 وطموحات الحياد الصفري بحلول عام 2050.

‏Representing Asyad Drydock during the session, Yaqoob Al Waili, Head of Supply Chain, highlighted maritime manufacturing, In-Country Value (ICV), and the role of local industrial capabilities in supporting Oman Vision 2040 and national Net-Zero 2050 ambitions.

إنجاز جديد يُضاف إلى سجل ⁧‫ ‬⁩، حيث نجحنا في إكمال مشروع استبدال مقدمة سفينة بالكامل لصالح شريكنا (مجموعة ألفارد البحرية).

with the successful replacement of the entire bow section of a vessel for our valued partner, Alphard Maritime Group.

Following a detailed reassessment with the classification society (ABS), the project involved a complex fore peak block renewal, from design and fabrication to the precise lifting and installation of the new 90-ton module.

This operation, that is a testament to our team’s expertise and the advanced infrastructure at our yard, showcases our capability to handle large-scale structural renewals with the highest standards of safety and efficiency. It reinforces our commitment to precision and world-class service in the maritime industry.

تواصل ⁧‫ ‬⁩ ترسيخ دورها كمنشاة صناعية وطنية لتوطين بناء الأصول البحرية عالية القيمة، عبر توقيع اتفاقية إستراتيجية لتنفيذ مشروع بناء أول قاطرة بحرية يتم تصنيعها محليًا في سلطنة عُمان لصالح الشركة العمانية للغاز الطبيعي المسال.

‏ويعكس هذا المشروع محطة إستراتيجية في مسار الشراكة بين الجانبين عبر انتقالها من تقديم الخدمات التشغيلية إلى توطين الصناعات في القطاع  البحري، بما يسهم في تعزيز القدرات الوطنية، ورفع القيمة المحلية المضافة، ودعم نمو الصناعات البحرية وفق أعلى المعايير الدولية.

‏كما يؤكد المشروع الثقة المتنامية في جاهزية المنصات الوطنية وقدرتها على تنفيذ أصول بحرية إستراتيجية داخل ⁧‫ ُمان‬⁩ بكفاءات وطنية وبنية أساسية متقدمة.
