Asyad Drydock (Oman Drydock Company L.L.C ) (ODC), a member of Asyad Group, based at the Port of Duqm and strategically located close to global shipping routes benefitting customers by reducing deviation time. With a 2,800-meter quay, a water depth of 9-10 meters, 14 sets of jib cranes and two graving docks, the Dry Dock can handle vessels up to 600,000 DWT efficiently. Commencing operations in 20

11, Asyad Drydock initially specialised in handling LNG and VLCC vessels before expanding into gas carriers, car carriers, bulk carriers, pipe layers, heavy lift ships, cruise vessels and oil tankers. Now, Asyad Drydock provides ship maintenance and conversion facilities for all types of vessels offering a full range of general vessel repair services including engineering, electrical, propulsion, accommodation upgrades, fitting, blasting and painting as well as procurement, testing, trials and class surveys. Asyad Drydock's considerable steel work capabilities and expertise enables the company to manage major and minor emergency repair projects swiftly and efficiently. In a further expansion to its services, Asyad Drydock also designs and fabricates steel works for the petro-chemical industry, the construction and maintenance of off-shore platforms for the oil and gas industry and is increasingly investing in new technology.

شاركت ⁧‫ ‬⁩ في الزيارة الاستطلاعية التي نظمتها هيئة الوثائق والمحفوظات الوطنية إلى الأرشيف الوطني في جمهورية كوريا الجنوبية، بهدف الاطلاع على أفضل الممارسات العالمية في إدارة الوثائق والأرشفة الرقمية. وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار التزام الشركة بتطوير الكفاءات الوطنية، وتحديث منظومة إدارة الوثائق عبر الاستفادة من التجارب الدولية الرائدة؛ بما يدعم مسار التحول الرقمي ويرتقي بالأداء المؤسسي، انسجاماً مع جهود ⁧‫ ‬⁩ لترسيخ الحوكمة الرقمية.

حصل معهد الدقم للتدريب الصناعي التابع لأسياد للحوض الجاف على الاعتماد الرسمي من الجمعية العُمانية للطاقة #أوبال كمركز معتمد لتقييم مهارات اللحام، التصنيع، هندسة التصنيع الميكانيكي، وصيانة وتركيب الأنظمة الهندسية. في خطوة تعكس التزام الإستراتيجي ببناء قدرات صناعية وطنية وفق أعلى المعايير العالمية.
 
ويتيح هذا الاعتماد للمعهد تنفيذ عمليات التقييم وإصدار الشهادات لمختلف المؤسسات الوطنية والدولية بما يضمن توحيد المعايير والارتقاء المستمر بالكفاءات، ويرسخ مكانة المعهد بوصفه مرجعًا موثوقًا ومعترفًا به في مجال التدريب والتقييم الصناعي.

Duqm Industrial Training Institute, affiliated with Asyad Drydock, has received official accreditation from the Oman Energy Association ( ) as Welding and Fabrication , Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Maintenance & Installation Assessment Centre, marking a milestone that reflects ASYAD Group’s strategic commitment to strengthening national industrial capabilities in line with the highest international standards.
 
This accreditation enables the institute to conduct assessments and issue certifications for national and international institutions, ensuring consistent standards, competency validation and the continuous workforce development. It also reinforces the institute’s positioning as a trusted and recognized provider in the field of industrial training and assessment.

شاركت ⁧‫ ‬⁩ ضمن ⁧‫ ُمان_للاستدامة‬⁩ 2026 في جلسة حوارية نظمتها العُمانية للغاز الطبيعي المُسال، بعنوان "استشراف مسار الاستدامة الوطنية عبر التوطين الصناعي"، وتناولت تنامي دور التوطين الصناعي باعتباره ركيزة إستراتيجية لدفع مسارات التنمية المستدامة وترسيخ الجاهزية الوطنية ودعم التحول الاقتصادي على المدى الطويل في ⁧‫ ُمان‬⁩.

‏As part of Oman Sustainability Week 2026, ⁦‪ ‬⁩ participated in a panel discussion organized by Oman LNG, titled “Charting the Course for National Sustainability through Industrial Localization,” exploring how industrial localization is becoming a strategic driver for sustainable development, national resilience, and long-term economic transformation in ⁦‪ ‬⁩.

‏Representing Asyad Drydock during the session, Yaqoob Al Waili, Head of Supply Chain, highlighted maritime manufacturing, In-Country Value (ICV), and the role of local industrial capabilities in supporting Oman Vision 2040 and national Net-Zero 2050 ambitions.
