أطلقت جمعیة البیئة العُمانیة حملةً لاستزراع أشجار اللُبان في محافظةِ ظفار، وذلك بالتعاون والشراكةِ التي بدأت منذ عام 2019 مع شركة نیلز یارد للمستحضرات، وھي شركة عالمیة حاصلة على جوائز عدیدة في مجال المنتجات الطبیة الطبیعیة والعضویة. تھدفُ الحملةُ إلى نشر الوعي ضمن المجتمع المحلي حول الأھمیة البیئیة والثقافیة لأشجار اللُبان، وإلى نشر وترسیخ الأسالیب المُستدامة لجني محصول اللُبان، كما تم خلال ھذه الحملة استزراع أكثرَ من 1500 غرسة من شتلات اللُبان من خلال توزیعھا على المزارعین وحاصدي اللُبان والطلاب وبعض أفراد المجتمع.
ESO has teamed up with Neal’s Yard Remedies since 2019, an award-winning natural and organic health and beauty brand, for a frankincense tree planting campaign in Dhofar. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the ecological and cultural value of frankincense trees and promote the adoption of sustainable harvesting techniques. In addition to raising awareness in the community, more than 1,500 trees have been distributed for planting with farmers, harvesters, students and community members.
