Our journey to Wakan Village during the enchanting apricot blossom season and the historic Nakhal Fort was truly a dream brought to life. Surrounded by delicate blooms painting the mountains in soft shades of white and pink, Wakan felt like a hidden paradise where every step was filled with calm, beauty, and wonder. Join us on an unforgettable journey to the breathtaking Jebel Akhdar this Damask Rose season, where you’ll experience the beauty of blooming roses, take part in hands-on rose picking, explore four of the most famous spots, and enjoy insightful educational lectures on traditional rose water production. 👌💃😍

In the high peaks of Jebel Akhdar, the fragrant Damask roses are carefully handpicked at dawn to preserve their rich aroma. These delicate petals are quickly gathered and taken for traditional distillation, where they are slowly simmered in Al Duhjan mud ovens using special containers.
Through a patient and time-honored process, the essence of the roses is extracted, collected, and sealed for several weeks, allowing the purity and fragrance to fully develop. The result is one of the finest and purest rose waters in the world, proudly produced in the Sultanate of Oman, where heritage, craftsmanship, and nature come together beautifully.
