Bahla, a town that beautifully blends Omani creativity with centuries of heritage.

We explored the traditional pottery workshops, where artisans shape clay using techniques passed down through generations. Every pot and incense burner carries the soul of this remarkable oasis.

Just beyond the workshops rises the magnificent Bahla Fort, one of Oman’s most iconic landmarks and a proud UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounding the town is the famous UNESCO‑listed wall, stretching an incredible 12–13 kilometers — a testament to Bahla’s historic importance and the ingenuity of its builders.

Bahla is a place where the past is still alive in every corner.

Jabreen Castle. Every room tells a story, from the beautifully painted ceilings to the secret passages and sunlit courtyards.

Walking through the halls, you can almost feel the vision of Imam Bil’arab bin Sultan, who built this castle as a place of knowledge, art, and peace. It’s a reminder of how rich and refined Omani heritage truly is.

The first few days of our journey through Oman have been packed with incredible moments. From wandering the colourful lanes of Muttrah Souk, to exploring the history and views of Nakhal Fort, to swimming in the crystal‑clear waters of the Daymaniyat Islands — this group has already seen some of the country’s best.

We also tackled the dramatic landscapes of Wadi Bani Auf and Snake Canyon, and wrapped it all up with a sunset that felt like the perfect reward for a full few days on the road.

Looking forward to everything still ahead on this adventure.
