Everything you need to know before you visit during Khareef season — swipe through 👉
🛂 Visa — GCC citizens enter visa-free. GCC residents can apply for the eVisa. 100+ nationalities get free 14-day entry. Everyone else: apply at evisa.rop.gov.om before you fly.
✈️ Getting here — direct flights to Salalah (SLL) from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Kuwait & Bahrain. Around 2 hours.
🏨 Where to stay — Salalah city (central, close to everything), Taqah (quiet, beside Wadi Darbat) or Mirbat (peaceful, an hour east). Book early — Khareef fills up fast.
🧥 What to wear — light modest layers, a rain jacket and grippy shoes. It’s misty and cool, around 20–27°C.
🎒 What to bring — waterproofs, power bank, sunscreen and some Omani Rial.
💚 And when you’re here, leave the tours to us — private daily tours and weekend group tours with local guides who know every hidden waterfall and viewpoint.
