Sportfishing here in the Gulf of Chiriqui is legendary! Black Marlin and Yellowfin Tuna are encountered offshore at Hannibal Bank, Coiba, and Isla Montuosa all only a short ride away. Inshore prey such as Cubera Snapper and Roosterfish are caught in the water right in front of the lodge! Our fleet of three 33' World Cats and our 33' Freeman are the nicest top-of-the-line fishing machines in Panama. Truly an EPIC day of fishing to start the trip with Hall of Fame Bass fisherman and our buddies from today at Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge! A huge 45 # Bull Dorado, some monster 180 # and 140 # Cow Yellowfin Tunas, a stud 40 # Cubera Snapper, and an enormous 20 # Rock Snapper!!
