One of the most beautiful parts of life in San Blas happens far from any supermarket.

Local Guna families arrive in their traditional cayucos, bringing freshly caught fish, coconuts, pineapples and seasonal produce harvested from the islands.

By choosing these ingredients, we support local communities, reduce unnecessary transportation and enjoy food the way it was meant to be: fresh, simple and connected to the place where it comes from.

Travel becomes more meaningful when it helps sustain the people who call these islands home.

Sometimes life at sea also means slowing down to repair, restore and prepare for new journeys.

Our sailboat is currently out of the water for maintenance, getting ready to sail again through the islands of San Blas by the end of June.
