SONIKA 🌊🔥
Today, I’m excited to introduce my logo and share the story behind Sonika.
Sonika isn’t a name I chose. It’s a nickname the Guna people gave me years ago.
Over time, it became part of my identity, and eventually the name of my project.
In Dule, the language of the Guna people:
So = fire 🔥
Nika = do you have it?
So Sonika is both a question and an answer.
“Do you have the fire?”
And also:
“The one who carries the fire.”
A definition that feels a lot like me.
The fire of a woman who never gives up.
A woman who never stops when she believes in her dreams.
A woman passionate about the ocean, sailing, cooking, and meaningful connections.
Then came the logo.
🌀 The spiral represents the journey and connection. Because deep down, we are all connected.
🌊 The ocean represents my home.
⛵️ The sailboat represents freedom.
🏝️ The island represents those little pieces of paradise that remind us what truly matters.
Sonika is my world.
A world of sailing, golden sunsets, meals prepared with love, adventure, connection, and freedom.
A world I’m lucky enough to live every day and love sharing with others.
✨ So maybe the real question is:
Do you have the fire too?
