Gentle Sir grew up in Gatun and Margarita on the Atlantic side of the former Panama Canal Zone. He has traveled extensively all over Central America and Panama. He is bilingual, multicultural, and is a Panamanian American. He is an avid swimmer, sportsman, nature lover, author, and poet.
Lucky Pepe is a fishing legend in Panama’s sportfishing community. He is a licensed panga fishing captain. He has fished in Panama over 50 years. His expertise is catching snappers, corvinas, dorados, and tuna around the island of Taboga.

The Gatun Locks are on the Atlantic end of the Panama Canal. Crossing the locks onto the west bank connects you with the costa bajo of Colon, with the town of Salud, and the ruins of Fort San Lorenzo.
The new Gatun Locks are located where newtown Gatun used to be. Gentle Sir’s boyhood neighborhood will be underwater when the new locks are operational.

Portobelo was a Spanish port plundered by the notorious pirate Captain Henry Morgan. It offers crystal clear reef rimmed waters for unforgettable snorkeling and scuba diving. Comfortable ocean front cabanas await you after your exhilarating experience down under.
Rancho Lago is an island in Madden Lake offering traditional bohios for open air lodging. There is a communal kitchen and bbq area. Wlile venturing here, you may enjoy scenic fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, horseback riding, and hiking.
Salud is a pueblito about an hour from Gatun. There you will find Morocco… a cozy beach house with room for plenty, and features an enchanting view of the Atlantic ocean.
