The history they left off the map — now in your hands. 🗺️

Six weeks. A slave market on Wall Street. A village under Central Park. A Black president in Mexico who freed a nation. The sugar that killed faster than cotton could replace it. Every place they erased — we put back on the map.

This is just the beginning. Our guides take you to the real history, where it actually stands.

One traveler. The whole map. 🗺️
This season we walked the Swahili coast, stood before the pyramids, heard what New Orleans made from survival, and stood beside a 12-foot bronze of an everyday Black woman in Times Square.
Every place they left off the map — we put back on it. Season three is coming. Where should we go next?

THE PLACES THEY ERASED. 🌳 (swipe →)

A Black village under Central Park. → A town built by the last slave ship’s survivors. → Black Wall Street, burned in a day.

They were thriving. They were erased. But you can still go stand where they stood.

📍 Our guides put them back on the map — link in bio.

They’ll tell you about cotton. They won’t tell you about sugar. 🤎
Cotton was brutal — but in the U.S., the enslaved population grew. Only about 6% of trafficked Africans were brought here, yet by 1860 they numbered four million.
Sugar was a death sentence. In Louisiana’s sugar parishes, more people died than were born — life expectancy after arrival was under ten years. At Whitney Plantation, the Field of Angels remembers 2,200 enslaved children who never reached their third birthday.
Same country. Two crops. One truth they leave off the tour.
📍 Whitney tells it. Our guide maps the rest.

I stood in the heart of Mexico City, and the history that moved me wasn’t on any plaque. 🤎
In 1829, President Vicente Guerrero, of African and Indigenous descent — abolished slavery across most of Mexico, decades before the U.S.

THE WORLD WE MADE: The Green Book. 🚗

From 1936 to 1966, Victor Hugo Green published The Negro Motorist Green Book, the guide that told Black travelers which gas stations, hotels, and diners would serve them, and which towns to leave before dark.

They mapped safety when the country wouldn’t. We carry that torch. 📍 Our guides are the next chapter.
