Here's a few basic things to know while traveling in Panamá:
🏍️The Food delivery app there is called "PedidosYa" they also have Uber Eats. You should also be able to order basic necessities there, if you don't know where to get something try searching these apps first!
🚘 Uber is one of the safest methods of transportation and is preferred over taxis.
💱 Panamá's currency is USD for the most part.
🍝 Don't worry too much about the food, I've traveled to many places in Latin America and Panamá was one place that had great food handling standards. You may or may not have a reaction because of the difference between the food in your home country, I didn't though.
💧 Tap water is safe to drink, but if you are sensitive and do not travel often then opt for bottled water.
🚗 Top places to Go within 30 minutes of Panama City:
🌴 Gamboa Rainforest Resort - You can go and have lunch with a view, or go on one of their awesome tours. (20 minute Uber ride)
🛍️ Albrook Mall - Huge mall with lots to see and do, good deals too!
🏖️ Taboga Island - Decent beach on an island, you can rent an umbrella and wind down. (20 minute Uber - 20 minute ferry ride)
🌉 Casco Viejo - Oldest Part of Panama City, very aesthetic, great place to walk around and site-see or eat at a rooftop restaurant. (10 minute uber from the Hilton)
