🇰🇪Nothing beats waking up on Safari listening to the sounds off the Mara🇰🇪

🐘 Nestling in the forest along the winding banks of the Mara river, the camp's setting is magical - so much so that almost a century ago it was reserved exclusively for Kenya's colonial Governors.🐘

🦓The Mara's waters are teeming with crocodile, hippo and bird life and some of the 37 luxury tents line the riverbank while others have views across the sweeping plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve.🦓

🦛Everything is under canvas including the ensuite bathrooms, the bar tent overlooking the river and the dining tent with its views across the plains. Gas and paraffin lamps are used for lighting.🦛

🦒In the heart of one of the best game viewing areas, visitors to Governors' can view game by vehicle or at additional cost, on foot or by hot air balloon. Balloon safaris need to be pre-booked and Masai cultural visits and trips to Lake Victoria can also be arranged.🦒
