Arequipa, ciudad de unos 1.3 millón de habitantes es un fantástico punto de partida para aventuras en 2 ruedas, desde 1 a 100 días.
Este sabado 20-12, nos toco visitar Churajon, a solo 2 horas de Arequipa. Después de una hora, estábamos en los Andes intrigantes con sus guanacos, caballos salvajes y historia milanaria preinca.

El pueblo de Churajón es un impresionante complejo arqueológico de la antigua Cultura Churajón (600-1400 d.C.) en Arequipa, Perú, una civilización preincaica con origen aimara, conocida por sus impresionantes andenes agrícolas, construcciones de piedra y barro en los cerros (como Chapi y Mollebaya), sus intrincados caminos y sistemas de irrigación, y una cerámica distintiva, que dejó un gran centro urbano y ceremonial que hoy es un valioso sitio arqueológico y cultural.

No podíamos tener mejor guía que Jose Ballon, una enciclopedia arequipeña de historia. Un historiador apasionado de moto con su KLR650 .
