The old city of Arequipa was built with , this stone was formed from the dried lava of the volcanos. Las is the place from where Sillar is taken to get it ready for construcction or sculptures.

The Sillar Route is an amazing tour of 4 hours with 3 spots: Viewpoing to see the 3 Volcanos around city, las canteras of sillar and an amazing walk through the ravine.
