⛰️ CIRCUIT 1 - PANORAMIC
Observation point: Upper area - Upper terrace - Machu Picchu Mountain
Focus: Landscape, elevation, and wide panoramic views
Does not include: Interior urban walkways
What defines it
▪️Exclusive access to the highest points of the sanctuary.
▪️Offers the widest and most open panoramic views of Machu Picchu and its natural surroundings.
▪️Views are obtained from the upper terrace and Machu Picchu Mountain.
▪️The citadel is observed from above, as an architectural complex integrated into the landscape.
▪️Temples and interior urban spaces are not visited.

Observation point: Middle area · Agricultural terraces · Urban zone
Focus: Iconic photo + architecture
Includes: Complete urban walkthrough
What defines it
▪️Combines the iconic postcard viewpoint with a full tour of the citadel.
▪️Observation point from the middle terrace, the most well-known and widely shared. Both routes include this viewpoint.
▪️Allows visitors to understand Machu Picchu from within—visually, historically, and architecturally (complete urban route).

Classic frontal observation + complete urban walkthrough.

🏛️CIRCUIT 3 - MACHU PICCHU ROYALTY
Observation point: Lower area · Ceremonial core
Focus: Close and symbolic experience
Does not include: Elevated viewpoints or the classic postcard photo
What defines it
▪️Walkthrough of the lower part of the citadel, where the most sacred spaces are concentrated.
▪️The base circuit does NOT include elevated viewpoints.
▪️Observation is close, detailed, and at visitor level.
▪️Panoramic views from this angle are only obtained by ascending Huayna Picchu or Huchuy Picchu Mountains.

▪️Route 3-A – Huayna Picchu Mountain Route (via Lower Area)
Close observation + demanding panoramic ascent.
✔ Available year-round.
