Tour Machu Picchu by Train Full Day: Before the clock strikes six in the morning, the train station in Ollantaytambo becomes a kind of beehive in action. European, Japanese, Chinese and other visitors from the most remote places on Earth converge at that location by the same cause: addressing the Vistadome Peru Rail train that leads to Aguas Calientes (town of Machu Picchu), an essential preamble to the Inca city Machu Picchu. The same scene, which the colorful street vendors adds, is repeated 16 more times a day, whenever there are trains from other operators and travel to Machu Picchu. In the blink of an eye, the crowd goes from platform to each passenger cars and settles into his seat without pushing or contrariarse. Miracles well synchronized action. The Vistadome Train devours the landscape with its panoramic windows and side transparent, great skylight ceiling. In less than two hours, welcome snack in between, the Andean landscape becomes a very green rainforest. A few minutes before arriving at the station of Aguas Calientes, the city which provides all tourist services linked to Machu Picchu (which owes its name to the presence of hot springs), the train stops at Km 104, in the archaeological area Chachabamba. Here descend some trekkers to start the bounded version of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, hike six hours instead of four days.
