Las escaleras conducen a la montaña más famosa de Machu Picchu.
El Huayna Picchu ubicado en la parte posterior de la ciudadela Inca de Machu Picchu ofrece una incredible vista desde la cima, sin embargo el camino para llegar a este es un desafío no apto para personas con problemas cardíacos.

El ascenso toma 40 minutos desde el ingreso a hasta la cima, por un camino empinado y angosto que asciendo mostrando los increíbles paisajes que esconde. Otro desafío para aquellos que buscan conquistar su cima son la cantidad de escalones que se tiene que atravesar ya que el 98% del camino son graderíos de diferentes tamaños.
