Taqrachullu and Tres Cañones are spectacular sites to visit and the final stop on our exploratory trip. We are working on a new two-day itinerary to visit these ruins. So be sure to stick around till then.

In the second part of the trip, we stopped at the ruins in Kanamarca to explore the site, which was originally built by the K'ana civilisation and later expanded by the Incas. The following day, we stopped at Maucallacta, which has Inca, Wari, Qolla, and K'ana influences within its walls. Before heading to the site recently featured in National Geographic (Taqrachullu).

Amazonas Explorer is out on an exploratory trip to find new trips and itineraries to get to Taqrachullu. First, we stopped at Pallay Puncho to see the wonderful colours and go on a bit of a hike to stretch our legs before heading to the Inca ruins of Kanamarca. Stay tuned for more updates.

Going to the Amazon and want to see lots of wildlife. We strongly recommend sticking to the following tips:
1. Spending at least three days in the Amazon Rainforest
2. Heading deep into the rainforest away from the population centres
3. Going to a protected Nature reserve like Manu or Tambopata

If you stick to these tips, you are sure to be impressed by the biodiversity Peru has to offer.
