The Sacred Valley + Machu Picchu 2-Day Tour offers a comprehensive introduction to the cultural, historical, and archaeological highlights of the Cusco region, culminating in a guided visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 1 – Sacred Valley Exploration
The journey begins in Chinchero, a traditional Andean town renowned for its ancestral textile techniques and living cultural heritage. The tour then continues to Moray, an archaeological site featuring circular agricultural terraces believed to have been used by the Incas for agricultural experimentation.
Next, visitors explore the Maras Salt Mines, a vast network of salt pools that has been used since pre-Inca times and remains active today. The route proceeds to Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca towns, known for its original urban layout, stone streets, and monumental fortress.
In the evening, travelers board a train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, following the scenic corridor of the Urubamba River.

Day 2 – Guided Visit to Machu Picchu
The second day is dedicated to a guided exploration of Machu Picchu. The tour follows the circuit assigned on the entrance ticket and focuses on the site’s historical significance, architectural design, and cultural importance within the Inca civilization.
After the visit, travelers return by train through the Sacred Valley region.

Itinerary Overview
1. Departure from Cusco
Begin your journey early in the morning as we travel through the scenic South Valley, passing traditional Andean villages.
2. Breakfast in Cusipata
Our first stop will be in the town of Cusipata, where you'll enjoy a delicious local breakfast to fuel the day ahead.
3. Combapata Lookout Point
Stop at the Combapata Mirador, where you’ll take in sweeping views of the Andean landscape.
4. Mini Volcano of the Pavellones
Discover a rare geological formation known as the Mini Volcano of the Pavellones, an intriguing natural feature in the region.
5. Pass Through Yanaoca
We’ll drive through Yanaoca, one of the eight districts in the Canas province, known for its cultural depth and natural beauty.
6. Qeswachaka Inca Bridge
Arriving in the district of Q’ewe, we’ll hike down a zigzagging path into the Apurimac River Valley to visit the Q’eswachaka Bridge — a 28.67-meter-long Inca suspension bridge made entirely of woven plant fibers. At an altitude of 3,600 meters, this living cultural heritage is a stunning testament to Inca engineering and tradition.
7. Exploration Time
Enjoy ample time to explore the area, walk the bridge (optional), and take in the dramatic scenery of the Apurimac Canyon.
8. Circuit of the Four Lagoons
On our return, we’ll visit the beautiful **Four Lagoons Circuit**, each with unique characteristics:
