Day 3 – Coffee Route in Lucmabamba ☕🌿

Step into the warmth of the cloud forest and discover the hidden flavors of the Andes. Surrounded by lush coffee plantations, you'll visit a local family farm, learn the secrets behind its cultivation, and savor a freshly brewed cup of Lucmabamba’s finest coffee. A peaceful day filled with aromas, traditions, and unforgettable mountain scenery.

Adéntrate en la calidez del bosque nuboso y descubre los sabores ocultos de los Andes. Rodeado de exuberantes plantaciones de café, visitarás una finca familiar local, conocerás los secretos de su cultivo y disfrutarás de una taza recién preparada del mejor café de Lucmabamba. Un día lleno de aromas, tradiciones y paisajes montañosos inolvidables.

Day 2 of the Salkantay Trek is pure madness. We went from freezing at 15,190 feet (4,630m) crossing the snowy pass, to hiking straight down into the high jungle. 🥵🌴

But the absolute best part of finally reaching Challway wasn't the food or the rest... it was running into our good friend Manuel completely out of nowhere! It’s crazy how the trail connects you with the right people in the most unexpected places. 🌍🥾

Proof that it really is a small world. Keep trekking! 🎒👇

El segundo día del Camino Salkantay no es ninguna broma. Pasamos de congelarnos a 4,630 metros de altura en el paso nevado, a descender directamente hacia la ceja de selva. 🥵🌴

Pero lo mejor de llegar finalmente a Challway no fue la comida ni el descanso... ¡fue cruzarnos de la nada con nuestro amigo Manuel! Qué increíble cómo el camino te conecta con la gente correcta en los lugares menos pensados. 🌍🥾

DAY 4: The kind of peace you can only find deep within the Andes. 🏔️🐴

After the intensity of the previous days, the fourth day feels like a breath of absolute tranquility. The mountain rewards us with total isolation and landscapes that look like endless postcards.

In this clip, we hike alongside winding streams cutting through vibrant green valleys, share the trail with horses grazing freely under the watch of eternal glaciers, and set up camp next to a rustic refuge in the middle of nowhere. Here, time stands still, and you realize how lucky you are to experience such a pure corner of the planet.

Completing this journey with the crew means experiencing the Andes in the most authentic and safe way possible. We are so close to the finish line! 🥾✨

DÍA 4: La paz que solo se encuentra en lo más profundo de los Andes. 🏔️🐴

Después de la intensidad de las jornadas previas, el cuarto día se siente como un respiro de tranquilidad absoluta. La montaña nos premia con una desconexión total y paisajes que parecen postales infinitas.

En este video caminamos junto a ríos serpenteantes que cortan valles intensamente verdes, compartimos el sendero con caballos que pastan libres bajo la mirada de los glaciares eternos y armamos el campamento junto a un pequeño refugio rústico en medio de la nada. Aquí el tiempo se detiene y te das cuenta de lo afortunado que eres de estar en un rincón tan puro del planeta.

Completar esta travesía con el equipo de es vivir los Andes de una manera auténtica, segura y con un profundo respeto por la naturaleza. ¡Ya queda menos para la meta! 🥾✨

DAY 3: The day the colors of the Earth come alive. 🌈🏔️

Reaching the third day of the Ausangate circuit means witnessing a natural spectacle that feels entirely out of this world. The trail is demanding, but the visual reward is absolutely monumental.

In this clip, we journey through vibrant red and golden valleys, pass pristine alpine lagoons acting as perfect mirrors for the massive glaciers, and stand before the breathtaking rainbow mountain. The contrast between the eternal snow and the earth's rich minerals is a living masterpiece that leaves you breathless (both literally and metaphorically!).

Llegar a la tercera jornada del circuito de Ausangate es presenciar un espectáculo que parece de otro planeta. La exigencia del camino es alta, pero la recompensa visual es simplemente monumental.

En este video caminamos entre valles de tierras rojas y doradas, cruzamos lagunas cristalinas que reflejan la inmensidad de los glaciares como espejos perfectos y coronamos la impresionante montaña de colores. El contraste entre la nieve perpetua y los minerales de la tierra es una obra de arte viva que te deja sin aliento (¡literal y metafóricamente!).

DAY 2: Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Ausangate blows your mind again. 🏔️💧

If day one left us speechless, day two took us to a whole new dimension. As we push higher, the landscape becomes more rugged, imposing, and wild.

In this clip, you can feel the true essence of the high Andes: rushing glacial streams, ancient apachetas (stone cairns), and twin turquoise lagoons so vibrant they look unreal. Here, the weather rules; one minute it's a clear blue sky, and the next, a thick mist embraces the glaciers, a reminder of the Apu's raw power.

Tackling this shifting territory is only possible with the best. Huge thanks to for guiding us with total safety and deep respect for the mountain. The summit is getting closer! 🥾⛺

DÍA 2: Cuando crees que lo has visto todo, el Ausangate te vuelve a sorprender. 🏔️💧

Si el primer día fue increíble, el segundo nos llevó a otra dimensión. Conforme ganamos altura, el paisaje se vuelve más rudo, imponente y salvaje.

En este video se siente la alta montaña: ríos con la fuerza pura del deshielo, senderos custodiados por apachetas ancestrales y lagunas gemelas con un turquesa tan irreal que parece editado por la naturaleza. Aquí el clima manda; en un minuto hay cielo azul y al siguiente, la niebla abraza los glaciares, recordándote el poder del Apu.

Caminar en un territorio tan cambiante solo se hace con los mejores. Gracias a por guiarnos con total seguridad y profundo respeto por la montaña. ¡La meta está cada vez más cerca! 🥾⛺

You leave the noise of the city behind to enter a world where the silence is only broken by the wind, the whisper of glacial streams, and the peaceful passing of alpacas.

Here, you can truly feel the powerful energy of the Apu Ausangate: turquoise lagoons that look completely unreal, campsites guarded by icy giants, and that profound sense of humility and wonder that only the Andes can give you. Trekking at this altitude is a physical challenge, but every single step is worth it when you have this scenery right in front of your eyes.

El primer día en el circuito de Ausangate es una bofetada de realidad y belleza absoluta. 🏔️✨
Dejas atrás el ruido de la ciudad para adentrarte en un mundo donde el silencio solo lo interrumpe el viento, el susurro del agua que nace de los glaciares y el andar pausado de las alpacas.

Aquí se respira la verdadera energía del Apu Ausangate: lagunas turquesas que parecen sacadas de una pintura, campamentos custodiados por colosos de hielo y esa profunda sensación de pequeñez y asombro que solo los Andes te pueden regalar. Caminar a esta altitud desafía el cuerpo, pero cada paso se paga por completo cuando tienes este paisaje frente a tus ojos.

POV: You survived the toughest trek in Peru and finally made it to Machu Picchu. 🥵🏆
6 days, over 100 kilometers, thousands of meters of elevation gain, and a couple of blisters later... we are finally here! Entering the citadel after trekking all the way from Choquequirao feels like a true conquest. 🏛️🔥
Was it worth it? Every damn second. 🦵✨

POV: You’re trekking through the Andes on your way to Machu Picchu. 🎒⛰️
Day 5 took us from the lush forests of Maizal to the chilly heights of Abra San Juan. The climb is brutal, but reaching the summit and seeing the snow-capped peaks surrounding you makes you forget all the exhaustion. We made it down to Yanama with full hearts and legs that… well, I can’t even feel my legs anymore. 😂🦵
