2020 has been a difficult year for most of us, all over the world. Tourism and education are only two of the areas affected by the virus, which by now controls our daily lives.
None of the less we have some great news for you:
Together with our partners from the Rotaract Club Perú Cosmopolita Cusco , we are more than proud to announce that we were able to organize our yearly Christmas-event for the children of the high Andes we take care off in Panticalle, Cusco.
We shared a beautiful day with the community starting the day with a warming breakfast, hot cocoa and the traditional (and very tasty) paneton-cake before handing out Christmas-presents to each one of the children who came from all over the area. This time with even more kids than last time because some of the families came back to where they originally lived, due to the pandemic.
We are very thankful to each one of those who helped us to put a smile on the faces of these wonderful kids.

We from PasacH Travel & Adventures wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope together for a better year 2021.
Despite the crisis we are working in the background to keep our social projects going and prepare to take our adventurous tourists back to the most beautiful places in Peru.

Peru Independence Day is on July 28th, this special date commemorates the liberation of Peru from the country of Spain by José de San Martín. 🇵🇪

July 29th celebrates the establishment of Peru as a Republic. These days together are referred to as: Las Fiestas Patrias and are by far the most important national holidays in Peru. 🇵🇪

During the Peruvian Independence day, the Plaza de Armas in cities all over the country will be full of festivities, parties, dancing, culture and plenty of excitement. 🇵🇪

Every year when the sun was at its highest point, the Incas welcomed their god Inti "Sun" with a great traditional celebration.
Nowadays the Day of the Sun is still the most important event in Cusco.
Every year more than 100,000 people attend to their cultural parades.

Throwback Thursday to Christmas 2019
What is Christmas? Christmas is the tenderness for the past, courage for the present and hope for the future.
We look back to 2019 when we spent a beautiful Christmas Day at the school of Panticalle. Full of joy, emotions and happy faces.
We thank all the participants from the Rotary-club Cusco and donations we received to give presents in form from toys and new shoes for all the children of the community and hope for a successful teamwork in the future.

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beeings, regardless of race, s*x, nationality ethnicity, language, religion or any other status.
This is important to know and a basic key for real freedom.
That's why we thank Michaela from Austria, who is a specialist in indigenous rights and has a lot of experience in working with the UN and other human rights organizations for years. Luckily she cheered up for a volunteering program with PasacH and spent a beautiful and instructive time in the grammar school of Panticalle.
