👣 This is how the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is experienced 🌄
Four days walking along one of the most famous trails in the world, and each one different from the last. The Inca Trail takes you through mountains, cloud forests, and Andean valleys that change landscape constantly. It is not just a trekking route, it is an experience that combines nature, history, and a physical challenge.

On the way, Inca ruins appear among the vegetation. Llactapata, Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, and Wiñay Wayna are some of the citadels you find before reaching the final destination. Each one has its own character and its own history, and seeing them in the middle of the high jungle gives them a magic that you would not find anywhere else.

And on the fourth day, you reach the Sun Gate. There, between the mountains and the clouds, Machu Picchu is revealed for the first time.

🌾 Sacred Valley: landscape and ruins in a single tour
Touring the Sacred Valley of the Urubamba river is one of those experiences that you do not rush. The farming fields on terraces, the snowy mountains peeking through the clouds, and the small towns on the way prepare you for something big.

The ruins are the heart of everything. In Pisac, the farming terraces and the archaeological complex dominate the mountain with an impressiveness that is hard to describe. In Ollantaytambo, the giant walls and the terraces remind you that you are facing one of the best preserved Inca fortresses in the world.

And between one ruin and another, the views of the valley complete everything. The green, the river, the mountains, and the Andean sky form a landscape that few regions in the world can offer. 🌿✨

🏛️ Step by step through the corners of Machu Picchu 🌄

From the moment you enter, the citadel sets the pace. The tour takes you through perfectly fitted stone structures, terraces that go down the mountain, and squares where the Incas celebrated their most important rituals. It is not just walking, it is understanding little by little how an ancient civilization lived.

Moreover, the buildings speak for themselves. The Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, and the Temple of the Condor are just some of the spaces that make you stop and ask yourself how they achieved all this without the tools we know today. Every stone fits with a precision that remains a mystery for archaeologists.

And in the background, always the views. The mountains, the fog moving among the peaks, and that green that covers everything give the tour a beauty that you did not expect to find at every turn of the path. 🌿✨ Have you already walked through this ancient citadel?

🏔️ Do you already know the most colorful mountain in Peru? 📍

The Mountain of Seven Colors is not just a destination, it is an experience that begins the moment you set foot on the trail. The hike to reach it takes about 2 hours through high-altitude landscapes, cold wind, and an Andean silence that accompanies you with every step. The effort is felt... but what you find at the top is worth everything.

When you arrive at the summit and Vinicunca appears before you with its stripes of red, yellow, green, and purple, you are simply left speechless. It is the minerals of the earth that create these unique colors, but seeing it in person feels like something that should not exist and yet it is there, real and spectacular, at more than 5,000 meters above sea level.

The views from above are equally impressive: snowy mountains, valleys, and an Andean horizon that stretches as far as the eye can see. 🌈 Vinicunca is one of those places that reminds you why it is worth going out to explore the world. Do you already know this place?

☀️ The Inti Raymi: The Festival of the Sun in Cusco ☀️
Every June 24, Cusco changes. The ceremonial costumes, the Andean music, the rituals in honor of the Sun... are not a recreation designed for tourists. They are the expression of a tradition that has been passing from generation to generation for centuries, and that shows in how the people who carry it inside live it.

What impresses the most is not the scenery or the size of the event. It is the pride with which the Andean communities participate. A pride that reminds us that these customs are not ancient history: they are still present, they have meaning today, and they are cared for with a dedication that says a lot about the strength of this culture.

Approaching the Inti Raymi as a visitor comes with a responsibility: to look closely, to learn what you can, and to respect a tradition that does not belong to us but that the whole world should have the chance to know. 🌿

✨ Cusco: A walk through its streets, markets and ancient temples! ✨

Getting lost in the streets of Cusco is one of those simple pleasures that are not forgotten, here the Inca stone walls hold colonial balconies, in its squares history and daily life live together, and in the middle of everything, its colorful market full of colors, smells and a great variety of products. 🇵🇪

And when one thinks they have already seen everything, Sacsayhuaman appears with its huge stone blocks fitted with high precision. Or the Qoricancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun, where the golden Inca walls were replaced by a colonial church that today lives together with what they could not destroy. Two civilizations in the same place, telling two versions of the same history. 🏛️

Cusco is not just a stop on the way to Machu Picchu. It is a destination that deserves its own time, curiosity and desire to explore it. Get ready for an unforgettable trip where every step is a discovery! ❤️

🎉 June in Cusco is something else. And this 2026 will not be the exception.

During the whole month of June, traditional music and typical costumes return to the Main Square of Cusco, turning it into the stage of one of the most important cultural celebrations in the country. Hundreds of dancers, groups, and delegations from the 13 provinces walk the streets. If you ever wanted to feel Cusco at its best, June is the month.

And the great moment of the whole month arrives on June 24 with the Inti Raymi, the Festival of the Sun. The celebration goes through three iconic stages: the Qorikancha Temple, the Main Square, and the Sacsayhuaman esplanade, where the Inca, the Qoya, the priests, and the regional delegations gather to perform the main ceremony in honor of the sun, with a parade of the four regions with their own costumes, feathers, and dances.

This 2026 the Cusco Festivities include more than 150 activities among ceremonies, food festivals, parades, concerts, and cultural expressions. There are plenty of reasons to be here this month. 🌟 Do you already have your plans to live the Inti Raymi 2026?

✨Have you heard of the Lares Valley?✨

The Lares Valley is one of those corners of Cusco full of crystal-clear lagoons, snowy mountains that appear through the clouds, with Andean communities and a calm environment. If the Inca Trail seems too crowded or you just want something different, Lares is exactly that: an authentic alternative full of life.

The tour through the valley lasts about 3 to 4 days, crossing landscapes that go from high Andean pastures to warm valleys. On the way, you not only enjoy nature, but you can also connect with local families, know their culture, their weavings, and their customs. And as a final point, many travelers finish the trek arriving at Machu Picchu by train from Ollantaytambo, the best way to complete your trip.

Lares is not just a route, it is an experience that few know, but that everyone remembers. 🌿 If you are looking for something calmer, more genuine, and with the same Andean heart... the Lares Valley is waiting for you. Would you include it in your next trip?
