Peruvian army strengthens fight against illegal mining in the .nacional.tambopata ! 🤝
In an unprecedented operation, the Peruvian Army, through the Second Amazonian Protection Jungle Brigade, installed an Advanced Command Post on the marginal band of the Malinowski River, in sectors A3 and A4, within the Tambopata National Reserve.
Esta nueva estrategia busca detener el avance de la minería ilegal, y garantizar la protección y recuperación de la Reserva Nacional Tambopata. Asimismo, contribuirá a fortalecer las acciones que viene realizando la Policía Nacional del Perú y la Marina de Guerra para enfrentar estas actividades ilícitas.💪
This Advanced Command Post will help consolidate territorial control through the permanent presence of the State, strengthening surveillance in the recovered areas and generating, in addition, a deterrent effect to prevent the re-entry of these illegal activities on the Tambopata National Reserve.
🌱 Also, it will strengthen the security of the representatives of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in Environmental Matter and the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State during the performance of their duties.
