On June 6th, we celebrated the anniversary of Apus Peru, as well as the birthday of our co-founder, Ariana, who is currently in Australia. Although Ariana couldn't be with us in person, we honored her with a delightful birthday cake decorated with koalas, symbolizing our thoughts and best wishes for her. 💚
To mark this special anniversary of Apus Peru, we embraced some ancestral traditions typical to Peru. 🇵🇪 One of these traditions involves offering red wine or chicha in front of a building as a gesture of protection and gratitude to Pachamama, the Earth Mother. We proudly performed this ritual in front of our building, honoring our cultural heritage and expressing our appreciation for the blessings we've received. 🙏
Celebrating our anniversary for the first time (!!) was incredibly special for us. It gave us a chance to pause, reflect, and truly appreciate how far we've come since Fely and Ariana founded Apus Peru.
