Laguna Churup
A hidden gem in the Peruvian Andes, just outside Huaraz.
The trek to Laguna Churup is short but intense — steep sections, rocky paths, and even a bit of scrambling with cables near the top. But every step is worth it.
At 4,450 meters above sea level, this crystal-clear turquoise lake rewards hikers with dramatic mountain views and pure alpine silence. A perfect challenge for adventure lovers and a must-do acclimatization hike in the Cordillera Blanca.
