🌳 Sentirse pequeño… ¡pero de forma inspiradora! Hoy agradecemos al majestuoso árbol de lupuna por regalarnos tantos momentos inolvidables en la selva.

La lupuna (Ceiba pentandra) es uno de los árboles más altos y majestuosos de la Amazonía peruana, alcanzando hasta 70 metros de altura y 3 metros de ancho.

Te recomendamos pararte junto a uno de estos árboles para sentir algo indescriptible 💚

For one night only, we were treated to a jungle PACKED with these Smoky Jungle Frogs (Leptodactylus pentadactylus). They had come out to find a mate after the rain and they were everywhere right outside our cabin. It was a beautiful orchestra that kept going all night long and was gone the day after.

Never underestimate frogs! 🐸"

Esta es una de las ave rapaces más comunes de la Amazonía y está bastante bien distribuida en diferentes ecosistemas desde México hasta Argentina. Inclusive se puede adaptar a contextos urbanos.

Se lo conoce también como gavilán pollero, taguato común, aguilucho de ala rojiza, entro otros nombres dependiendo de la zona. En inglés se llama Roadside Hawk y su nombre científico es Rupornis magnirostris.
