Welcome to Ananda! This ultra-luxurious beachfront estate is located on the prestigious Banks Road, just two miles from the town of Governors Harbour. Ananda house consists of a main house and two pavilions featuring wrap around patios finished in Balinese limestone. The three houses are set around a landscaped lawn and courtyard. The centerpiece of the courtyard is a 50 by 20 foot oceanfront infinity pool flanked by a vast 400 square foot day bed on one side and an outdoor kitchen with full bar and large dining area on the other. A 12 foot by 8 foot low-relief Buddha fountain imported from Bali overlooks this magnificent pool area and bestows its serenity on the courtyard along with the water fountain vases in the pool.
Beyond the pool is a spectacular mile-long pink-sand beach, pristine and usually deserted, with only a few other houses along the full length of it. The pink of the beach and amazing aqua and turquoise of the water greet your eye from every room and bathroom of this stunning estate.
Entering the main house from the circular driveway, you are greeted by a Caesar-stone gallery with a fully retractable wall of glass facing the ocean on the other side. The open kitchen, to your right, features top of the line Miele appliances with a 36’’refrigerator, Master Chef double oven, professional chef sink, a glass gas cooktop with retractable hood and a dishwasher. The kitchen is fully equipped with professional grade juicer, blender, professional Nespresso coffee machine, and exquisite hotel grade cutlery and dining ware by Fortessa.
The living area, to your left, features Italian designer furniture including a very plush carpet, a 65-inch 4k and 3D flat screen TV with a Bose Surround System, Apple TV, and cable TV including all the premium channels (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax…). A sunken living area with ocean views can be used for additional sleeping or as a large dining area with an enormous teak dining table imported from Bali. The living room and kitchen have a magnificent 25 foot vaulted Balinese ceiling. The central area of the main house also features a large powder room and a full laundry room.
This central living area is flanked by two magnificent master bedroom suites with 20 foot vaulted ceilings. Each master suite has a wall of glass with a sweeping view of the ocean. Amenities include 55-inch 4k 3D TV, Apple TV, Netflix and a Bose wireless speaker. The ultra-luxury bathrooms feature Caesar stone and Carrara White slab walls and floors, top-of-the-line Hansgrohe Axor fixtures, and stand-alone tubs carved of solid Carrara White marble. The bedrooms are furnished with top of the line Italian furniture and six-star hotel-quality bedding. These main house bedrooms each include a lower built-in area for lounging or for use as additional sleeping quarters.
Ananda’s two Pavilions are stand-alone master bedroom suites. They feature fully retractable glass curtain walls overlooking the ocean, the pool, and the Buddha fountain. These walls, which operate manually or electronically at a push of a button, disappear completely, leaving you with unparalleled views. The Pavilion’s bedrooms feature vaulted Balinese ceilings 15 feet high. They are equipped with luxury Italian furniture in walnut and six-star hotel bedding. Each Pavillion has a full size walk-in closet and an ultra-luxury master bath with Caesar stone walls and floors, top of the line luxury Hansgrohe Axor fixtures, and solid marble stand-alone tubs.
The estate is equipped indoors and out with multiple Bose wireless speaker systems that can play separate musical selections, or can be linked to play the same music throughout the property.
Housekeeping is provided once during a one-week stay. The Ananda house offers a full service option, available for an extra charge, which includes butler, chef, daily housekeeping, jet ski, and ATV.
