Smells like new rubber at the boat house! We are very happy to have Ben Webb, MEx and Río Marañón co-founder for the opening of our new fleet of ARK Inflatables.

Our first boats from 2018-19 seasons are still holding strong after 8 solid seasons on them, but our aim for providing quality equipment demanded a renovation, specially for our private Row your Own groups.

To our previous 3 16ft, 1 14ft and 1 16ft cataraft, we are adding two more 16ft, one 14ft and two single inflatable kayaks. Now we have equipment to run two simultaneous trips or one hell of a huge one.

Get your crew together and book your dates for later this year or the next!

Lin Lin August 2026, this year we are finding nice lines through this amazing rapid.

We just finished a Heart of the Marañón trip with an all legends crew of 10 italian kayakers with 2 cargo boats rowed by our team... good low flow, clean water and perfect weather!

IRF GTE (Guide Training Education) Workshop October 2025 - What a special trip this was!

IRF instructor is a long time friend and we were happy to co-organize an 8 day course with him through the Heart of the Marañón section. 11 guides, kayakers, trip leaders and instructor trainees from 8 different countries joined and enjoyed a challenging fun week. We provided a paddle raft, oar rafts, a cataraft and kayaks so everyone got the chance to use and practice with different boats.

For us, it was a special trip since we got to see the river we work at with different eyes, looking for scenarios to develop the skills the demands to certificate Trip Leaders (TL), Safety Kayakers (SK), Raft Guides (RG) and Safety Rafts (SR), up to grade 4, the top certifications available. We got to refresh and improve our Trip Leaders certifications and gave the oportunity to our guides to get their first international certification, everyone did great and showed how good the Marañón is to shape profesional guides.

A first of a kind workshop worldwide and we are looking forward to the next one! Thanks to our coach Gabo and IRF for developing such a quality workshop, and thanks to all the participants that came from different corners of the world to join.

Epic drone footage from the new Chipche rapid on day 3 of our Heart of the Marañón trip back in late May with crew, a new blow out squeezed the Marañón and create some new big features, after a short scout we found a nice narrow line right in the midfle.

After 2 and a half days of class II-III+ rapids to get used to the kayaks and big water, the team was excited to tackle the first class IV of the trip.

How this section builds up is perfect for the progression in big water of intermediate kayakers.
