Reindeer have been part of life in Alaska for generations.
Perfectly adapted to this landscape, they move through it with an ease that’s hard to miss.

Long before roads, this was the way to move across Alaska. Dog mushing has been part of life here for generations.

Soft morning light. The second largest penguin species in the world moving through their morning ritual just a few steps away.

Moments like this make traveling far and arriving early feel worthwhile.

This ten year old male is known as Ousado which means “Daring”.
Rescued during the 2020 wildfires and later returned to the wild, he has become a quiet symbol of resilience in the Pantanal. Watching him patrol his territory along the river always feels more powerful in the field than in any photograph.
Encounters here are never rushed and never guaranteed but November is when conditions align and time on the water matters most.

If you have been considering joining this season now is the moment to begin the conversation.
