Part of our responsibility as a partner in community-based tourism development is to support training, capacity building, and the transfer of knowledge to local communities.

Our team recently had the privilege of successfully training 18 participants from Bubuleta Village in preparation for the official launch of the Mangrove Boardwalk Project, proudly funded by UNDP in Papua New Guinea

The training covered key topics including:
● Introduction to Tourism
● Tour Guiding
● Customer Service
● Hygiene and Sanitation
● Health and Safety

Building local capacity is an important step towards ensuring that tourism development creates meaningful opportunities for communities while promoting ownership, sustainability, and quality visitor experiences.

We sincerely acknowledge and appreciate our development partners, UNDP, the Custodians of Mahabalina Island, and the Bubuleta Ward Development Committee, for their continued support and collaboration in advancing community-based tourism.

Together, we are connecting people to culture and nature while creating opportunities for communities. 🌿🌏🤝
