From our conversations in February 2026 to finally on 3rd - 7th July we had the joy of welcoming you to *Pero Pero - Mangul Eco-Guest Haus*.

Special shoutout to little *Gaspard* — our Hermit Crab 🦀 collector and newest adventurer! His first dinghy ride, first canoe ride, first betel nut boat trip for his uncle Leo, that traveled from France to Melbourne, Cairns, POM and then straight to Karkar Island . First real visit to PNG and his First Karkar memories 💛

Marion, thank you for bringing your family all the way to our island. We all had a magically time with you all.💯💯💯

Your mind is the most powerful tool you own—are you using it to your advantage? 🧠✨

​I’ve been revisiting the teachings of Mel Robbins lately, specifically the impact of how we speak to ourselves the moment we wake up. We often know the theory, but practicing it consistently is where the real transformation happens.

​On Tuesday morning (June 16th), I decided to be intentional. Before my feet hit the floor, I set the tone: "It’s going to be a GREAT & COOL day."

​And it truly was.

​That mindset shift led me straight into one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had this month here on Karkar Island. I was honored to be picked up by the Agriculture District vehicle, instructed by Harold Daniels of KIK (Kokonas Indastri Koporesen), to join a group of farmers on a trip to Ulun. 🥥

​We were there to witness the near-completion of the first-ever Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) building on Karkar Island! Seeing this project at 90% completion—brought to life through the grit and collaboration of Jack, the Ulun community, with the support of the Sumkar Agriculture Division, KIK, and the leadership of the Hon. Alexander Suguman Orme & Sumkar DDA—was nothing short of inspiring.

​It is a powerful reminder that we don't just talk about development; we can actually build it, step by step, when we work together.

​These are the kinds of impactful stories I am proud to support. They prove that when we align our mindset with action, progress follows. To everyone who helped make this happen: well done!

We have our Karkar bilums ranging from K80 to K150, and some nylon string bilums, some claypots, Boroman hand made baskets and caps, Gamog handmade cap and hat, coconut shell spoons and one Ukulele made Boroman Village.
