We would like to inform all our international passengers and partners of two new mandatory travel regulations recently introduced by the Government of Papua New Guinea.

🟩 Green Fee Collection – Effective 13th October 2025

The Climate Change and Development Authority (CCDA) has commenced collection of a Green Fee of PGK 50.00 for all foreign passport holders departing Papua New Guinea.

This initiative supports the government’s efforts toward climate action, sustainable tourism, and biodiversity conservation.

Payment Details:
The fee will be collected upon departure (at the airport counter).

Please prepare PGK 50.00 for payment to avoid any travel delays.

Exemptions may apply for certain categories such as PNG citizens, transit passengers, and airline crew.
