🚢 A holiday cut short — but everyone is heading home safe. 🙏

The expedition cruise ship Coral Adventurer ran aground on a reef near Lae, forcing the voyage to end earlier than planned.
There were around 80 passengers and more than 40 crew on board, and thankfully no injuries were reported 🇵🇬❤️
The ship struck the reef during navigation, and despite several attempts with tugboats, it couldn’t be refloated safely.
✈️ Passengers are now being flown back to Australia on charter flights, while authorities assess the vessel and decide the next steps
