POEM For PNG'S 50TH GOLDEN JUBILEE
Fifty years of freedom's flame,
A nation's spirit, proud and tame,
From colonial rule to independence bright,
Papua New Guinea take flight 🇵🇬✈️.
Sir Michael Thomas Somare, a name so dear,
The founding father, who wiped away fear,
With courage and strength, he led the way,
For a nation born, on a brand new day 🇵🇬.
The forefathers, who fought for our right,
Their legacy lives on, in the morning light,
Their vision, their dreams, their struggles and might,
Gave birth to a nation, where we take flight ✈️ 🇵🇬.
Fifty years of growth, of trials and strife,
A nation's journey, through the ebb and flow of life,
We've faced challenges, we've overcome fears,
And emerge stronger, through laughter😃 and tears 😢.
Today we celebrate 🥳 ,fifty years of pride,
A golden jubilee, where our nation's spirit won't subside,
We thank the founding fathers, who paved the way,
For the freedom we enjoy, every single day.
Sir Michael Thomas Somare, your legacy lives on,
A symbol of hope, a nation's dawn is won,
We honor your memory, your leadership and might,
As we celebrate, fifty years of Papua New Guinea's light 🇵🇬✨️.
May our nation continue to grow and thrive,
May our people prosper,
May our future survive,
Fifty years of independence, a milestone achieved,
Papua New Guinea, our beloved nation, we celebrate and believe.🇵🇬💛
