Travelers heading to Boracay, take note! ⚠️

Boat fares from Caticlan to Boracay will increase starting April 16, 2026, as announced by the Caticlan Boracay Transport Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CBTMPC).

New rates:
• Regular: ₱60
• Discount holders: ₱50
• Senior citizens, students & PWDs: ₱45

The adjustment is temporary due to rising fuel costs linked to the ongoing Middle East conflict. Fares are expected to return to previous rates once prices stabilize.

Its name “Lapus-Lapus” comes from the Filipino word “lapus,” meaning to pass through — fitting for a rock formation shaped like a giant keyhole that looks as if the sea could slip right through it. 🔑✨
