Angeles City is formerly known as β€œCuliat” which is derived from a woody vine. It was a part of San Fernando for 33 years and there are some industries that were established like wine distilleries and sugar mills which helped the economy of the small town grow. On December 8, 1829 it became separated to the town of San Fernando because Don Angel paid the amount required by law to separate the small barrio in the town of San Fernando. Moreover, Angeles City has 33 Barangays that leads to 462, 928 population in the 2020 census. Angeleneans common languages are Kapampangan and Tagalog. There are Trading, Manufacturing, and Tourism industries that keep Angeles City the highly urbanized city in the Province of Pampanga.
