By being immersed in the sites of Angeles City, you will easily feel its rich local culture and history, see its preserved heritage, and experience its gastronomic offerings, leisure activities, and adventure sports. The thriving metropolis maintains its prosperous past, which helped shape it into what it is today. Still, we must continue this effort to protect the important historical sites in Angeles and the culture, traditions, and beliefs of its people so the next generation will continue to see how beautiful and bright the city has been since the beginning of its discovery.

Overall, it has been a pleasure for the entire team of 𝗔𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗚 to be part of protecting and promoting the local history and culture of Angeles City. El Pueblo de los Angeles began as a jungle clearing settlement established by Don Angel Pantaleón de Miranda, the town head of San Fernando, and his wife. Did you know it also served as the United States' main stronghold in the Philippines until it was attacked and occupied by the Japanese on New Year's Day? The history of the city is surely busy!

However, many people, even Angeleños themselves, still don’t know the history of how a forest full of "kuliat" suddenly became a home for thousands of people. With that said, 𝗔𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗚 presents to all of you "𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗟: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆" to showcase a 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗙 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 of the events that happened before Angeles became a city.
