Name and History – VIAJE DE ANGONO TOUR SERVICES

The inception of the organization started when the tricycle organization DATODA was called for service by Professors from the university belt area for their transportation needs. The drivers become instantly tour guides when students asked different questions pertaining to Angono’s culture and history. Today, the organization grew to more than 30

active members composed of tricycle drivers, students, artists and common people from Angono and different towns of Rizal province. Section B: Mission- Vision – The organization aims to be the leading tour service provider in Rizal province, promoting its rich culture and heritage. Section C: Purpose – The purpose of this club shall be:
1. To promote Angono’s rich culture and heritage.
2. To help the local government of Angono in promoting culture and the arts by providing informative tour guides.
3. To provide lectures to the people of Angono about its history and arts

San Isidro Labrador

Si San Isidro Labrador ang patron ng mga magsasaka at ang isa sa dalawang pangunahing patron ng bayan ng Angono.

Dahil ang bayan ay dating isang hacienda at ang pangunahing ikinabubuhay ay pagsasaka kung kaya't minarapat ng mga Kastila na siya ang gawing patron. Ang imahe ni San Isidro ay pinakamatandang imahe sa bayan, dinala ng mga unang hacendero noong 1700s.

Masigla ang pagdiriwang ng kanyang kapistahan, tuwing ika-15 ng Mayo. Sa katunayan ay ito pa nga ang inaabangan ng mga tao hanggang dekada 60. Hindi masyadong ipinagdiriwang ang kapistahan ni San Clemente dahil tag-ulan at ayaw 'mabasa'. Pero yan ay isang ala-ala na lamang ngayon.

Kagaya ng pagdiriwang ng kapistahan ni San Isidro na kung saan maraming nagpaparadang kalabaw na may burluloy sa ulo, ang Hermano ay nagpapamigay ng mga kendi at kung ano ano pa, ito ay isa na lang din na ala-ala.

Sa pagkawala ng mga lupang sakahan at pag convert nito sa mga subdivision ay unti-unti na ring nawala ang mga magsasaka, ang mga kalabaw ay nawalan ng silbi at di na dumami.

Nagpatuloy ang kapistahan ni San Clemente dahil ang Lawa ay hindi maaring gawing subdivision at ang mga mangingisda ay tuloy sa kanilang ikinabubuhay.

Sa tulong ng Simbahan at ilang artist groups ay patuloy nitong pinapaalala sa mga taga Angono ang mayamang kapistahan na mayroon ang bayan, lalo na ang kapistahan ni San Isidro Labrador.

Hanggat may nagpapaalala, hangga't may nagkukuwento ay hindi mawawala ang kasaysayan.

The next season of the AUTHENTIC ART TOUR will begin this month as part of the celebration of the National Arts Month of February!

WE BEGIN ON FEBRUARY 24 and ALL the following Sundays after! For only 1,390 pesos the participants will enjoy the following:

*Bus ride with Wifi
*Designated Tour Guide per bus
*Lunch (local delicacy)
*T-shirt printing as souvenir (with lecture)
*Entrances to the following cultural spaces:
1. Pinto Museum
2. Angono Cave/Petrogyphs
