JUST IN: Status of Affected Airports and Flights due to 6.7-magnitude earthquake.

Mactan-Cebu International Airport

- CAAP Tower personnel are safe.

- Tower structure sustained no damage.

- Runway inspection revealed no damage.

- Tower cab equipment sustained no damage.

- Airport continues normal operations.

- Commercial power out

- As of 2240H, passengers were evacuated from the terminal.

- PTB inspection finished. As of 0000H on 01 October 2025, passengers are allowed to enter the PTB after inspection and assessment

Bacolod Airport

- Earthquake tremors experienced in the Tower Cab lasting 1 minute and 30 seconds.

- Maximum magnitude of 6.8 recorded by the Operations Building sensor.

- Runway inspection in progress.

- PAL and Cebu Pacific Flights from Manila were temporarily held for landing while runway inspection is ongoing. Safely landed after they were given safe-to-land clearance.

Tacloban Airport

- 3.7 magnitude reading from the accelerograph installed at the Tower.

- After inspection - did not incur Damages as per initial inspection and assessment by the CSIS duty officer.

Calbayog Airport

- FSS Tower recorded a 2.2 magnitude.

- After inspection - did not incur Damages as per initial inspection and assessment by the CSIS duty officer.

Ormoc Airport

- Seismic accelerograph registered a 4.7 magnitude.

- After inspection - did not incur damages as per initial inspection and assessment by the CSIS duty officer.

Maasin Airport

- After inspection - did not incur damages as per initial inspection and assessment by the CSIS duty officer.

Hilongos Airport

- After inspection - did not incur damages as per initial inspection and assessment by the CSIS duty officer.
