Visitors learn Artecheโ€™s culture and history as Arteche Tourism transforms a tiny office into a mini museum of its rich culture.

Featured is the ๐Š๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ง, a traditional coconut grinder made from wood and branches used to prepare freshly grated coconut for cooking and local delicacies.

Also on exhibit is the ๐‹๐ฎ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ , handcrafted wooden mortar used to pound bananas, root crops, rice, and other farm produce.

Completing the exhibit is the ๐’๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ, handmade fishing goggles fitted with manually cut glass that allowed local fishermen to see beneath the water.

Adventure seekers and beach lovers can now experience the beauty of the Higunom Dancing Sandbar as tours officially open for visitors every Friday and Saturday this April 2026.

The scenic sandbar offers a relaxing island escape perfect for quick getaways, swimming, sightseeing, and enjoying the crystal-clear waters. Joinerโ€™s trips are now available weekly for groups of 15โ€“20 persons, while private tours can also be arranged by sending us a message.

Please be informed that the construction of the Arteche Mangrove Forest Boardwalk has officially resumed AND IN ITS FINAL PHASE OF CONSTRUCTION.

In line with this, the area is closed to visitors to give way to ongoing construction works.
