Here's a quirky guide to some hidden gems in Bacolod that aren't that crowded during the masskara season. This doesn't have the usual stuff like chicken inasal and Cansi. It's assumed that those places are full of tourists this masskara 🤣

Morluck is one of our favorite artists from Bacolod City! 🎨❤️ Hailing from Silay, this mischievous artist creates funny, sarcastic, and sometimes irreverent art that perfectly captures the humor of Negrenses.

His pins, stickers, and souvenirs are a must-have when you visit Bacolod! 😆

People from Bacolod and Negros are known for their dry humor, sarcasm, and sometimes colorful language. Morluck captures all of that perfectly in his work.

His designs are full of jokes, double meanings, and clever wordplay. Some jokes are even better when you understand both Tagalog and Ilonggo!

For example, one of his pins can mean “loves to cook” in Tagalog, but has a completely different and hilarious meaning in Ilonggo. 😂

That clever local humor is what makes Morluck’s art so fun and it resonates well with the younger crowd as well as visitors from Manila!

Costumers 🎭 — people who make, design, or provide costumes for plays, movies, parties, or events.

A couple of nights ago, I had dinner at NaMet PH 🍽️, a very unique garden restaurant 🌿 with a gorgeous view of the famous Balay Ni Tana Dicang Museum in Talisay City, Negros Occidental 🤩.

The restaurant is right across the street from the Balay Ni Tana Dicang, and they have a bunch of tables where you can just sit back, have a cup of coffee ☕, and admire the historic house 🏡.

The restaurant opens in the late afternoon 🌅, which is perfect for great afternoon views of the house—or late-night viewings 🌃 when the house is beautifully illuminated by LED streetlights 💡.

Very beautiful, peaceful 😌, and the food is tasty! 🤤 Loved the vegetable skewers 🍢, sisig 🥘, inasal 🍗, Cansi and BBQ 😋.
