St. Lasalle was immensely passionate towards barely literate boys and with this, he decided to establish a school that aided poor boys in order to provide them with quality opportunities. Today, there are more than 900,000 who still continue in his footsteps by becoming students and educators in Lasallian institutions in around 80 countries. Most Lasallian schools before accepted solely male students to study however, due to the movement of gender equality, women have also been seen as drastic contributors to the Lasallian legacy.
This project aims to show appreciation to women around the Philippines who have lived out their Lasallian values and have shown excellence through their various talents albeit the circumstances they cannot control. Through different features and videos that will hopefully empower Lasallian women around the world they are capable of more than what they’ve expected.
