HEADS UP, TRAVELERS ✈️
Travelers should expect higher airfares for flights booked on Nov. 1 to 15 as the Civil Aeronautics Board raised the fuel surcharge level to 17, from Level 16 in the second of October.
Under Level 17, airlines may charge an additional P559 to P1,635 for domestic flights, depending on the flight distance traveled.
For international flights, the surcharge ranges from P1,846.10 to P13,726.58. These are higher than the Level 16 surcharge rates for the Oct. 16-31 period at P525 to P1,535 for domestic flights and P1,733.76 to P12,891.29 for international flights. | via Ted Cordero/GMA News Online
