The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines announced on Tuesday the cancellation of two flights and the diversion of three others due to unfavorable weather conditions at their destinations.

Cancelled flight:
• Cebu Pacific 5J 506/507: Manila–Tuguegarao–Manila

Diverted flights:
• Cebu Pacific CEB860 (Zamboanga–Manila) – Landed at Clark at 1:19 PM.
• PAL Express GAP2814 (Davao–Manila) – Landed at Clark at 1:23 PM.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced the cancelations of 17 flights bound for General Santos Airport on Monday after 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the City Monday morning and the tsunami warning issued by PHIVOLCS.

Flights operated by Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines (PAL), and PAL Express were affected. The cancelled flights are:

• 5J4844 – General Santos to Iloilo
• 5J998 – General Santos to Manila
• 5J993 – Manila to General Santos

CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio said assessments of air navigation facilities, equipment, and operational capabilities are ongoing to ensure the continued safety and integrity of airport operations.

NO PAL FLIGHTS FOR DUBAI, DOHA UNTIL APRIL 30

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) has temporarily suspended its flights between Manila and key Middle East destinations, including Dubai and Doha, until April 30 due to ongoing security concerns in the region.

As of 3 PM, the following flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh have been cancelled:

March 11, 2026:
