Sa bawat hakbang pataas, hindi lang pagod ang dala—kundi mga kwento, katahimikan, at mga bagay na unti-unting pinapalaya natin sa sarili. Hindi lang ito tungkol sa pag-abot ng tuktok, kundi sa mga taong kasama mo sa bawat hingal, tawanan, at pahinga.

Sa bundok, mas nagiging totoo ang lahat—walang pretensya, walang ingay ng mundo, kundi ikaw at ang mga taong sabay mong lumalaban at umaakyat. Dito mo mararamdaman na hindi ka nag-iisa, na may mga kamay na handang sumalo, at mga pusong sabay tumitibok sa iisang layunin.

Minsan, hindi natin namamalayan—habang umaakyat tayo, unti-unti rin pala tayong binubuo, pinapalakas, at pinapauwi sa sarili nating mas buo.
