Canyoneering activities and Kawasan Falls remain temporarily closed as the water level has not yet returned to its normal level and the current remains strong. This continued closure is in place to ensure the safety of all visitors and guides.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) is continuously monitoring the river conditions and will provide updates once it is safe to resume activities.

Due to the heavy rains experienced last night, the Canyoneering River remains unstable. The water level has risen, and the river currently exhibits a muddy appearance as assessed by BADIAN MDRRMO. For the safety of everyone, the Canyoneering activity and Kawasan Falls is temporarily closed today (May 28, 2025) until further notice.

We are pleased to inform you that Badian Canyoneering and Kawasan Falls will reopen after the clearing operations for all activities today, September 19, 2024 at 9:00 AM. Following the careful monitoring and assessment of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, we have determined that the water levels and currents have returned to their normal state, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

We want to express our gratitude for your patience and understanding during the temporary closure. The safety and satisfaction of our visitors remain our top priorities, and we appreciate your continued support.
