After hosting for almost 2 years and having a lot of returning guests, I realized that what really matters most is cleanliness and how you treat your guests.
A clean unit sets the tone right away, and being responsive, kind, and helpful makes guests feel comfortable and valued. You don’t always need fancy upgrades—sometimes it’s the small things and good communication that guests remember and appreciate the most.
✨ Host Question: How do you improve an Airbnb without breaking the bank? ✨
Hi everyone! I’d really love to hear your best tips and honest advice 🙏
Baguio has very high competition for Airbnbs, and while our units are not exactly at KM 0, they’re near the city and in convenient locations around Baguio City.
Here’s what we already offer:
🏡 Two units (Zonevill & Ferguson area)
🚗 FREE parking
🌿 Balconies in both units
🎨 Simple aesthetic designs
☕ Free coffee & tea
🧴 Shampoo & soap
🪥 Toothbrush & toothpaste
🛏️ Towels & slippers
💖 Hands-on hosting as much as I can
I’m really trying my best to improve the guest experience, without overspending, but bookings are still challenging.
👉 From a guest’s point of view or host’s experience:
• What small upgrades made a big difference for you?
• What made you choose one listing over another?
• What matters more: photos, price, reviews, or extras?
• Any low-cost ideas that actually helped boost bookings?
All suggestions are welcome—no gatekeeping please 🤍
Your advice might not only help me, but other small hosts too.
Thank you so much in advance 🫶
