Baguio’s Christmas Glow Returns ✨
The An Enchanting Baguio Christmas 2025 — Six Years of Elevated Holiday Magic 🎄
The holiday season in Baguio has always carried a distinct kind of enchantment — a quiet elegance woven into cold mountain air, soft city lights, and the familiar hum of December nights. But this year, that enchantment reached new heights with the unveiling of the 2025 Baguio Christmas Tree, a luminous masterpiece rising gracefully over Session Road.
Designed by Resty Lopez and brought to life through the craftsmanship of the City Buildings and Architecture Office (CBAO), the tree stands as a testament to Baguio’s evolving creative identity. Constructed entirely from bamboo, it speaks of sustainability elevated into art — proof that mindful materials can be transformed into something truly spectacular.
The moment the lights were switched on, the entire installation shifted from structure to spectacle.
Its deep green radiance, paired with its sleek, contemporary silhouette, creates a presence that feels almost otherworldly. From certain vantage points, the tree evokes the elegance of an illuminated Emerald City, while the star-tipped crown glimmers with a touch reminiscent of Glinda’s wand — a subtle, enchanting nod that adds both trend and theatricality to the experience.
Now celebrating its sixth year, the Baguio Christmas Tree has transcended the idea of a holiday fixture.
It has become a signature of the city — a moment of collective wonder, a landmark of the season, and an annual tradition that draws visitors and locals alike into the heartbeat of the holidays.
Under its glow, conversations soften, families gather closer, and the city feels wrapped in warmth despite the cold.
This is the kind of Christmas only Baguio can offer: refined, heartfelt, and illuminated by the spirit of a community that celebrates beauty with intention.
Warm lights. Crisp air. A city shimmering with soul.
This is Baguio’s holiday season — elevated, enchanting, and unforgettable. ✨
